Representative Director, President and CEO
Tomonari Hamano
After graduating from university, he joined Deloitte Tohmatsu Group, one of the world's leading consulting firms, where he provided management consulting support to more than 120 companies and was the youngest senior manager in the group, serving as head of the Tokyo office and head of the Business Development Division. After joining Hotlink Corporation, he served as COO (Chief Operating Officer), overseeing global business, corporate planning, business development, strategic human resources, and corporate divisions. (now NOVARCA Corporation), which he launched as a new business, and spun it off as a carve-out and assumed the position of President and Representative Director. He is Based in Tokyo and Shanghai as a pioneer in cross-border business.

Yoshihiro Nakazawa
After graduating from university, he joined Japan Economic Advertising (ADEX). There, he primarily provided advertising solutions to major companies and was involved in media development. In April 2016, he joined Hotlink Co., Ltd. and was hired as a manager in the Corporate Planning Department. Subsequently, he took on the role of launching the data marketing business for the Chinese market as a new initiative. In January 2017, TrendExpress Co., Ltd. (now NOVARCA Co., Ltd.) was spun off, and he co-founded the company with CEO Tomonari Hamano. He then assumed the position of Director in March 2017 and led the business’s growth as the business leader. Later, as COO, he launched and grew the cross-border e-commerce platform business. Currently, he serves as Chairman and General Manager of the China office, overseeing all business operations.

Tomoya Kurasawa
After graduating from college, he joined transcosmos Inc. In the corporate planning department, he launched a new global EC business and was involved in M&A operations. In September 2018, he joined Trend Express Inc. (now NOVARCA Inc.) as the head of the cross-border EC promotion office, and in October of the same year, he became Executive Officer of the company. In July 2020, he became General Manager of the Business Administration Division, and in November 2020, he was promoted to Director of the company. After being in charge of corporate governance, finance, corporate planning, and strategic human resources, he has managed the Social Commerce Business Division since January 2023.

Akira Kurabayashi
After working in Japan and the U.S. at Fujitsu Limited and Mitsui & Co. in the venture capital business, he served as Head of Investment in Japan at Globespan Capital Partners and salesforce.com. In March 2015, he joined Draper Nexus Venture Partners (now DNX Ventures), where he held the position of Managing Director and has been the Japan Representative since 2020. His investments include BtoB technology companies such as SanSan, Money Forward, Team Spirits, and TerraSky, and he has an extensive track record. He holds a PhD in academics from Doshisha University and completed a graduate program in business administration at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is also the author of “Corporate Venture Capital Practice” (Chuokeizai-sha, Inc.).

Tatsuya Nakamura
After working for AGC Corporation’s Electronics Company in production management, overseas sales in new businesses, and a stint in Shenzhen, China, he joined the Boston Consulting Group, where he worked with several major Japanese companies on new business launches and implementation support, company-wide reforms, M&A support, and mid-term planning. He was also involved in the development of mid-term plans for several major Japanese companies. He then joined Globis Capital Partners in June 2020.

Hiroaki Yasutake
In 1998, he joined Rakuten, Inc. in its early stages and was involved in the launch of various web services as an engineer. Later as Director and Managing Executive Officer, he headed the technology division and retired in January 2016. He then moved to the United States and launched a startup company, Junify. Then, in March 2022, he became a technical advisor to Trend Express Corporation (now NOVARCA Inc).

Yi Ren(Nin Gi)
He graduated from the University of Tokyo in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, and completed his Master’s degree at the same university in 2009. In 2009, he joined Dream Incubator, a strategic consulting firm, where he worked in consulting for government and IT/entertainment/manufacturing industries. In addition, he participated in the launch of the China office.
In 2012, he joined DeNA to help launch DeNA China, where he held various positions in strategy, HR, alliances, and game development before being appointed CEO of DeNA China in February 2014. He also served as the executive director for Asia at DeNA’s headquarters. Under his leadership, DeNA China has grown to become one of the top mobile game publishers in China, expanding its gaming business not only in Greater China and Korea, but also in Japan and North America, and successfully led DeNA China into the black. He joined Smart News Corporation in 2019.

Tamaki Kambayashi
After graduating from college, she spent 13 years in marketing at a full-service advertising agency. During this time, she developed numerous plans for various promotions for clients such as major distributors and manufacturers, with a particular focus on collaborative campaigns and merchandising utilizing IP. Later, she worked for a foreign jewelry brand as a brand manager, where she was responsible for developing brand strategies and implementing promotions.
From April 2019, she worked for Trend Express Inc. (now NOVARCA Inc.) as Director of Planning for the Solutions Business Unit, and was appointed as their Executive Officer in January 2020. In addition, since January 2023, she has concurrently served as the company's Executive Officer, Head of Marketing Business Division and CMO (Chief Marketing Officer).
